Your Expedition Travel Insurance

At Explorers World we believe that your safety and enjoyment are very important, therefore travel insurance is a must whenever you travel abroad.

Given the unique nature of expedition travel we have arranged a specialist travel insurance policy to provide cover for you whilst on our expeditions. This is underwritten by Axa Insurance and arranged by Campbell Irvine Limited (tel: 01737 223 687).

The cover, outlined below, is automatically included as complimentary travel insurance on all bookings with Explorers World – giving you the peace of mind that you are properly covered for this kind of trip. Full details of what the policy covers are shown at Insurance Policy Document.

In Patient Benefit £10 per day up to £200
Criminal injuries £100 per day up to £5,000

Either compensation up to £100 or cancellation after 12 hours up to £1,000

Failure of flight connections - £25 per day up to £150

IMPORTANT NOTES

1.  This is only a summary of cover, full details of the cover provided are shown on the Insurance Policy Document (a copy of this will be sent to you at time of booking). Please read it carefully to ensure you understand the cover provided which includes certain terms conditions, exclusions and excesses.

2.  Cover is only available to persons permanently residing within the UK or mainland Europe aged up to 66 years at the time of booking.

3.  Cover is excluded for any pre-existing medical condition from which you or any person upon whom travel depends is suffering. If in doubt, please contact Campbell Irvine’s Medical Helpline in confidence on 0844 892 0954 for guidance and help. Additional cover may be available and can be purchased direct from the Insurers. 

4.  Cancellation cover starts immediately at the time we confirm your booking with us.
