For 25 years we have been running expeditions that set out in
search of the unknown – making many new discoveries and journeying deep into uncharted territory.

Expert Leaders
Our expeditions are led by expert leaders, selected for their experience in leading exciting but safe expeditions, their knowledge of the area concerned - its history and natural history – and for their ability to ensure everyone enjoys their trip.
Award-winning
In 1996 the Royal Geographical Society recognised our Managing Director’s contribution to the world of exploration by awarding him the Society’s Ness Award for organisation and leadership of expeditions.
Value for Money
The price of your expedition includes nearly all ‘in-country’ costs. Truly remote travel of this kind is never going to be cheap, but we aim to offer great value for money by packing your trip with experiences unavailable to other travellers – and include complimentary specialist expedition insurance. Apart from your own purchases, any extras you might have to pay for are mentioned in the itineraries.
Small Groups
There are limited numbers of places available on our expeditions. These will normally be between 6-14 accompanied by one or more leaders and guides.

Our Environmental Responsibilities
With a background in scientific research expeditions you would expect us to take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. We aim to minimise our impact in the pristine regions we travel to. We make information about our discoveries available to science and make an economic contribution to local agencies/communities engaged in conservation efforts. In addition we make donations to help offset the carbon emissions of air travel.
